Homeowners need a champion.
Homeowners—currently owning your own home or aspiring to it—You are not a gold strike to be mined by a broker for a commission. You are a person who needs honest, heads-up, hands-on help with the many decisions that are part of making a change of home, whether you're presenting your home for sale or purchasing. Always, but especially now, Homeowners need a champion to stand with them and for them.

Unfortunately, even my own industry, real estate brokerage, finds brokers lacking. A National Association of Realtors 2015 study concluded that the realty broker population “is saddled with a large number of untrained, unethical, and/or incompetent agents.” However, over 90% of home real estate transactions are reported to be conducted with the help of brokers, showing that people like you want and need a competent trustworthy advisor who puts you First and Only. I offer to be your champion.

A 2016 survey of Millennials, a tech-smart group, says they’re using smartphones, tablets, laptops, apps, websites, texts, emails for self-directed home research. On neighborhoods, prices, comparables, financing, et cetera. Yet, before moving ahead most are seeking “a human touch and trusted advisor,” a listener to their desires and believable interpreter of the information and data who can guide them to fulfilling
their goal. Someone about whom they feel confident will make them First and Only.
Whether you're from MillennGen, Boomers, or the Greatest Generation, you deserve that same thing.
That means from the start, all the way through the many steps after signing a contract, when inattention, missteps, agitation and anger can threaten a closing. And in a lot of transactions, all of them happen. For the seller and buyer, it's emotional. My role is to keep steady, advance your positions, monitor
everybody’s work and attitude in your transaction including the other side’s people,
to steer everyone to the timely handoff of the keys.
When your and my personalities and philosophies click, things just go better. Our viewpoints may still sometimes diverge and I'll present my reasoning based on facts and experience. But law and ethics say that the broker carries out their client's decisions without coercing the client into them.
